Brining female founders together.

There's plenty of networking events for women but there are few that lead to lasting connections. Too often the bulk of the "networking" is left to the attendees to figure out. As a company dedicated to the mission of giving people the power to build community, we wanted to create a structured networking experience where we would guide women through a conversation with 9 other entrepreneurs they had never met.

A structured networking experience

A female founder dinner is about bringing different voices to the table, asking three big questions and allowing everyone equal time to share. It is a way to create a structured networking experience where barriers come down and meaningful connections are made. The purpose for #SheMeansBusines female founder dinner is three-fold. First, to connect women entrepreneurs to other female founders within their local communities. The second, to discuss the challenges and opportunities female entrepreneurs face. And third, to share resources that help women grow their businesses.

Results

The results across all 8 cities (TOP TWO BOX for all results)

  • 84% agree with “Facebook cares about the success of female entrepreneurs.”

  • 97% were satisfied with the event.

  • 97% would attend another #SheMeansBusiness dinner in the future

  • 73% are likely to host their own dinner in the future

  • 34 self-planned dinners.

How to host video and guide

Part of the magic of Female Founders dinners is that anyone can host them! So the CTA for our attendees was to get hosting. In order to encourage this behavior we created a video and a guide on how to host and at the end of each event we raffled three $300 gift cards to local women owned restaurants.
